Sorry for replying so late.  I have been getting ready for the next meeting and realised I had not replied.

 

The Gorge Parish Council had a scheduled meeting on the 20th July.  I added this consultation to the any other business section.  This section is for information only and no decisions can be made that will form a policy on behalf of The Gorge Parish Council.  Councillors took the view that the matter was so important that a wider more public consultation should take place and for a longer period than six weeks over the summer months when most local government is not fully functional.  The Parish Council could not form an opinion on the best way forward for the whole Borough in such a short space of time.  It will be on the agenda as a proper item where a policy can be formed on the way forward at the next meeting on Tuesday 6th September. 

 

I have also emailed Mr Brownlees with the same concern.
