18.0 Programme of Ordinary Meetings of the Council
The programme of dates for ordinary meetings of the Council fro 2009/10 is as follows: 2009 2010 Thursday 25 June Thursday 28 January Wednesday 30 September Thursday 4 March Thursday 26 November Thursday 29 April
19.0 A Special Meeting of the Borough of Telford & Wrekin to be held at 7.30 p.m. or upon the completion of the Annual Council Meeting whichever is the earlier.
The Council is being asked to admit as Honorary Freeman of the Borough the following person: Mr. Peter Gibbons. he being a person of distinction and a person who is considered to have rendered eminent service to Telford & Wrekin. Section 249 of the Local Government Act, 1972 provides that a Council may pass a resolution to admit an honorary freeman providing that not less than two-thirds of Members voting thereon at a meeting of the Council specifically convened for this purpose vote in support.
