Telford Steam Railway Environmental Project

The money will be used for line side clearance, which will tidy the site up, improving the aesthetics for both residents and visitors, but it will also benefit the wild life in the area. We have previously had talks with Shropshire Wildlife Trust about the importance of the railway as a wildlife corridor. We will use the money to buy tools and any materials needed. If we were successful work would be able to begin once the necessary tools have been purchased and would be carried out over the next 12 months depending upon the weather.
