Lingen Davies Sunflower Appeal
Grant funding will contribute towards the Lingen Davies Sunflower Appeal. The appeal aims to raise £5 million to build a new Cancer Centre at Telford’s Princess Royal Hospital, with doors set to open in 2029. The new centre will double chemotherapy capacity across the region, bringing treatment closer to home and helping residents get the support they need, when and where they need it most, thereby reducing the current impact on residents who have to travel to Shrewsbury for treatment.
